Mercedes-Benz fashion week Ljubljana took place from Saturday, 22.10. till Monday, 24.10., and I was lucky enough to get my hands on the tickets. Since I found that out only a few days before the first event, I was in a hurry to find three separate outfits, that I would feel comfortable and fashionable in, which presented quite a challenge for me.
For the first day, I choose an all black outfit, because I think that you can't go wrong with black. I wore a cute black see-through blouse, black leather skirt, and a leather jacket.
I matched the look with greyish black boots that were actually really comfortable despite the heel, and a black clutch. My hairstyle is basically a reflection of the hurry I was in, so I went for a messy high ponytail.
The second day was even more impressive than the first. I was able to see fashion shows from the brands MEHLE, Natasa Persuh, D'Alpaos, AKULTURA, Dajana Ljubicic and Sofia Nogard.
My outfit was very neutral, I wanted to stick with earthy tones, so I choose a silky shirt, brown thigh high boots and a brown skirt.
Besides the fact that I was going crazy over my wrinkled shirt, I had a great time, and was actually really impressed with Natasa Persuh fashion show.
The last day was by far the most impressive when it comes to fashion shows. I was super excited to see SUSNYARA INCOGNITO collection, and I was not disappointed.
We could also see the new collections of Tanja Zorn, Vlada Savic, IVANMAN, Cliche and SENS. All of them were pretty amazing, I was actually really impressed with IVANMAN, and even though the pieces were designed for men, I would most definitely wear some pieces.
Since I did my makeup in pink tones and chose a dark lip, I went for a girly leather pink skirt and a beige blouse with some white Adidas sneakers. I wore my brown clutch again, but this time I held it in my hands.
If I had more time, I would probably chose different outfits, but all in all, I was pretty pleased with my combinations and had a great time all three nights. This was my first time attending the MBFWLJ, but hopefully not the last. If you want to see everything that happened on fashion week, you can do so on its Facebook or Instagram page, or MBFWLJ website. Tell me what your impressions were! :)
