Ljubljana Fashion Week is behind us and it is finally time to present my looks here for you guys.
My blog has been on a stand still for a while now, because I’ve been brainstorming about what I want to do next and how I want to continue, but I can not miss out on introducing this gorgeous look to you here.
So after weeks of not posting anything on here I am back (sort of), to gush over this colorful combo I wore on the first day of ljfw.
Let me start by saying a huge thank you again to the ljfw team, for helping me with basically everything!
Had it not been for you, I might not get a chance to shine in this glorious combination that was just screaming my name. From the colors to the story behind the design, I am completely in love with this outfit.
Julija Kaja Hrovat is a talented Slovenian designer that draws the inspiration for her designs from history, particularly from the cultural heritage and the environment from which it comes. The print and the colors are emphasizing the identity of the Slovene nation and its history, creating sustainable clothing with a strong message. You can read more about her story and creations here.
Besides the fact that this design wears such a powerful message, the fit and the feel could not be more perfect. The colors give you an instant mood boost, and even though I was serious for the photos, I could not stop smiling the entire night. Twirling and dancing, laughing and creating, this design was meant for the woman in you. The one that knows her power and isn’t afraid to show it.
It makes you feel girly, yet strong. Flirty, yet independent. Happy, yet determined.
Sadly the time has come for me to part ways with this outfit, but I will be forever grateful to Julija Kaja, who was kind enough to lend me her designs. I was shining in all my glory, marking the ljfw19 day one as one of my best and happiest days so far. I can not remember the last time I felt so good and confident in my outfit, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!
*I styled this dress with a colorful bag and high heeled beige boots, but for a more wearable and every day look I would opt for a white turtleneck & white sneakers or a cardigan, white leggings and boots for colder days! If you wish to wear this for a special occasion I would recommend beige heels and if you feel especially edgy try this look out with some colored heels (blue, hot pink or mustard yellow).
