Ola and welcome back to Mainstream Chic!
After another way too long blogging pause I'm back, baby. Since I have so many ideas and so little time to do them I thought I should start with this series. PIN SPOT basically means I spend so much of my free time on Pinterest I might as well do something useful out of it. So this is a spot for my pins;)
You may or may not know I recently moved into my little apartment, and let me tell you decorating on a budget is not easy. Nevertheless, I am slowly buying everything on my Wishlist so here are some of the items I have yet to buy or find.
After a minor balcony crisis (=me panicking because outside furniture is expensive and I don't like it) my boyfriend came through. For my birthday he made me a couch and a table out of pallets and I love it. I want to make it cute and cosy, but can't seem to find appropriate pillows. I tried buying pallet pillows, regular pillows, decorative pillows, but sadly nothing seemed to work. So if any of you know where to find comfy white pillows like these, pleaaaaseeee let me know.
After watching Janni and Jon's house decorating process (click here) and realising that that is my dream house, I became obsessed with Scandinavian interior. Even though I could never keep up with so much minimalism, I really need one of these rugs and/or wall plates.
I don't have space for a huge chair, so a stool should do. I have been eyeing the one from the first photo, but I can't seem to commit.
By the way I also want everything else from these photos.
Ever since getting my little Cipo and moving to a small apartment I am really concerned he doesn't have enough fun. So I saw these Ikea solutions on Pinterest, and I definitely need to do something similar. Also thinking about taking him out for walks, even though that always seemed so funny to me.
Oh well, I officially became a cat lady.
My Pinterest has been filled with all sorts of apartment pins but it's safe to say these are my top "need to buy them" things. I will take a few photos of my apartment and share them soon since I have been really into hacks and cheaper interior solutions.
